Process to Switch

Step 1 - Activate eSIM

The first step is to activate your eSIM on your phone.

-- Connect to WiFi

-- Setup eSIM   

     -- iPhone:  Settings >> Cellular >> Add eSIM/Setup Cellular

     -- Android: Settings >> Connections >> SIM Card Manager >> Add eSIM

-- Take a screenshot of the new eSIM

To generate the PIN complete the following


Verizon Users


To get a Number Transfer PIN you must have a standard monthly account.

Use any of these methods to get a Number Transfer PIN:

  • Dial #PORT from the smartphone that has the number you want to transfer.*
    • Our system verifies you're dialing from the phone to be transferred.
    • We send you a link to generate the Number Transfer PIN in My Verizon.
  • My Verizon app: Create Your Number Transfer PIN
  • My Verizon website: My Profile > Number Transfer PIN > "Generate PIN"

PIN is valid for 7 days


AT&T Users


Use any of these methods to get a Number Transfer PIN:

  • Go to People & permissions in your myAT&T profile.
    • Select Wireless
    • Scroll to Transfer phone number and select Request a new PIN. Your Number Transfer PIN will display on the screen.
  • From your AT&T mobile device: Call *PORT. Follow the prompts to get your Number Transfer PIN sent to you via text. You’ll need your account passcode to generate the Number Transfer Pin when calling *PORT.

PIN is valid for 4 days

Please use this form for send over your T-Mobile SIM .


You will need the following info to complete the form

  • Port Out PIN
  • T-Mobile eSIM 
  • Existing Cellular Account Number

We will work with you to set up a time that works for you to complete the process of switching carriers.    We want to ensure you know when this will happen and that we are here to help you throughout the process

Once the port process has been completed, you will need to remove the eSIM from your previous carrier and reboot the phone.    Also, for iPhone users, double check that iMessages can still be sent/received from your mobile number.    Settings >> iMessage.   Make sure phone number is checked.
